I have made multiple 7-figures with Dropshipping… but at one point I almost quit.
Not because I was failing but because I didn’t feel it anymore
Let me tell you the story of how I lost my love for the game & found it again

This was past my initial struggles of getting the business rolling…
I knew the feeling of desperation from not being able to make things working
But this time it felt different.
Everything was running but instead of feeling excited about my working on my business…
I knew the feeling of desperation from not being able to make things working
But this time it felt different.
Everything was running but instead of feeling excited about my working on my business…
I had to drag myself to the desk every single day.
I kept doing this for a couple of months until I got real with myself…
I had to ask myself:
"What happened? Why don't I enjoy this anymore."
I caught myself breaking myself being distracted & looking at other businesses

After talking to others I noticed this is chronic in Entrepreneurship
You start a business to own it but then the business starts to own you.
…All your thoughts are around business
…You feel guilty when you aren't working
…If something doesn't work out you get depressed

This was a very hard time to go through but I also saw it as an opportunity for me to grow
So what did I do?
I used something I learned from the book "Unbeatable Mind"
I was trying to be as objective as possible with my situation and analyzed 2 different sides…

The personal side & the business side.
And from a neutral perspective, there were some VERY obvious problems going on.
I noticed I made some sacrifices that you shouldn't make long term.
Short term it's completely fine but long term it will bounce back at you

Let's start at the personal level…
-I was working 7 days a week. 8-12h a day.
-Didn't take vacations
-Didn't prioritize my fitness & health
-Social Interactions have been at the bare minimum
It's okay if you do them for a couple months but I have been doing that for too long

So what did I change?
-I started taking sundays off
-Taking 1 Vacation every Quarter
-Started a diet and stick to it (For me it's the Keto diet and it works awesome)
-Started meeting friends & family more often again
Now against my fear that it will hurt my business growth…

It actually helped me:
-Feel more productive & focused during work times
-Getting better results in my business
-Taking less time to do more work.
This was the first time when I realized that 4 hours of focused work beat 12h of distracted work

Why do I think the personal level is very Important?
Because Business Problems are Personal Problems in Disguise
I don't know where I heard that first but this is something that couldn't be more true.

Think of yourself as the Driver and the Business as the Car…
If you're constantly driving drunk, the best car in the world won't work.
So make sure to have put as much work into your personal development as your Business development.

What did I change Inside of my Business?
Again I analyzed the tasks that were going on and quickly I noticed…
…there was too much stuff going on:
-Ads on 4 different platforms
-6 Dropshipping Funnels running simultaneously
-Taking care of 3 VA's
Overall a huge mess.

So I started cleaning up waste.
First I started valuing the Task in Dollar per hour.
For example creating new Ads is a $1,000 per hour activity
While Supplier Communication is a $10 per hour activity.
Focus on Asymetric Tasks. Small input high output.

I looked at my business through that lens and stopped doing stuff that wasn't giving me good results and wasn't necessary
The stuff that was necessary but was only ranked at $10 per hour? I automated it
Now you are only left with the tasks that move the needle in your business

Doing this over and over again I got rid of tasks I didn't like & didn't had an Impact on my business…
…and more importantly I felt like I was controling my business instead of my business controling me.
This reignited my love for my business & helped me to keep going.

If I didn't had that compass? I'd probably quit.
And that's also the reason why most startups fail. Not because the founders run out of money… but because they simply quit.
