Imagine, if you will, that Jesus Christ was alive 300 years ago. Suppose our world is a shadow realm enveloped in a veil of delusion and Christ was endowed with anomalous abilities that allowed him to rend the veil. If you were a servant of the Veil, what would you do about this?

First, think about how that makes you feel, to know that the world of Christ, saints and miracles existed only a few generations ago. To sense the immediacy of their lives, that perhaps they walked the same streets you walk today, that there are holy relics that may yet be found.

Now imagine we shift the chronology. Christ is now 200,000 years in the past. Incomprehensible distance. Revelations never came true. Every place that Christ walked is under 100 meters of "cultural layer". All the relics become copies of copies.

This is the power of chronology.

Modern chronology is a framework which is filled with "periods", segments in chains of time. All relics and texts found must be slotted into these periods. Out Of Place Artifacts (OOPARTs) are regularly discovered which don't fit these periods, so they're ignored or discarded.

The temporal sequence of history consists of a string of well-defined periods. Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Information Age, etc. Each period is determined by its precise duration, by the nature of events within it, and by its position within the entire temporal chain.

Implied in this view is the idea that the temporal sequence may be calculated with precision. Coherence and unity of the historical process is integral for its computation. There can be no grey areas. If iron appears in the stone layer, it is always "contamination".

The full significance of a detailed, calculable and predetermined historical sequence comes to the fore when its unfolding is observed. The concept of history as a progressing sequence, evolving through consecutive stages, gives rise to terms like "the wrong side of history".

Or "the end of history". In fact, the theory of evolution, the progressive ideology and transhumanism all find their roots in this "Doctrine of Time" I just described. Curiously, that doctrine finds *its* roots in the cabala and secret Jewish sects.

Addendum: It becomes apparent what moving certain reference points can do. It restructures history, changes the nature of human development, scales of time. The whole quality of the human being is shifted, remade.
