Imagine how pumped I am to of purchased new @YokohamaTC tires for my wife’s jeep last year, to have them wear down to the bar under 8k km of driving. Then follow up to figure out what their warranty would do (8k km = 4970 miles) can’t NOT be covered, right? Oh it gets better
I go to the store who sold them to me, “no warranty” gave you a good deal, ahhh ok, so I call @YokohamaCanada and meet with their regional director……they tell me the store sold me the wrong tires for the application (being a professional is clearly an option to sell their tires)
Take the info, say they will get back to me. Well my goodness, can you believe they washed their hands of it? Said the tire’s were now to old (date made in factory) and wrong application (their approved dealer) and would offer me $50 towards new tires. It’s equally laughable as
It is frustrating. But there is a lesson here. Remember the bad beer? Anheuser-Busch? They literally replaced my box of beer double time. See the difference? Good lesson, support the companies that actually care about their customer experience. $50 towards $9-1200 in rubber….
$75 towards a $35 case of beer…….What an embarrassing response. Like I said, laughable.
I’m mean, clearly these are impeccable quality. Can’t wait to spend another grand on them to replace them after one summer. Laughable
