Yes they are. Laporta's decision of appointing Xavi as a head coach was well criticised by a lots of football critics. But Xavi so far proved them WRONG.
What exactly XAVI did extraordinary?

Well It's a tricky question with relatively Simple answer. XAVI knows Barcelona very well. He himself a product of this Barca system. So XAVI have the Barca DNA in himself.

But It's not the tactical chances what let Barca thrive Again in top flight football, it was his approach. Xavi let everyone who is in the squad know, Barcelona Is one of the Best club you can play for, so if you wanna play here you have to give all of your in the pitch.

He demands more than what other manager did. And also Xavi have all the authorities to cut off player/s if he think Won't fit his style of playing .

Secondly, Xavi made it very clear that he going to implement OG Barca style of playing and you have to play accordingly which was missing during Keoman era.
