/ # People asking how you can check platform adoption.

This is basic internet skills. Its following the news, its being able to use google and twitter. Its knowing how to search for info online.
/ Its going to the platforms website and seeing who they say is building on them (They'll be eager to tell you). Its going on twitter and telegram, finding the shillers, seeing what ecosytem maps they are shilling.
/ Finding out how much of that ecosystem is real and just not excuse projects or junk. What is the quality of the projects? What existing projects in crypto are interested in pivoting on it? What kind of funding are projects in the ecosystem attracting?
/ Its being able to use Google/Twitter and dig to find statistics and reports on developer activity. Its finding reports from Electric capital and Messari on developer activity and platform growth.
/ Its following the 'goings on' and from reading the news just knowing whats building on @polkadot , @solana , @NEARProtocol and so forth
/ Asking this stuff is like saying 'How do you what football team this guy plays for?'. If youre into it a lot, you will know because you follow the transfer news. If you don't, youre not into it enough to know. This is the level of interest crypto alts require
/ I see a lot of people who think all of this info will just be presented on a plate to them and nicely curated on some website or paid for service. It won't be.
/ You need to put in the work. If you find a curated crypto source or group, on its own its likely shill. Doing crypto involves effort and time.
/ If you sit reading this stuff asking yourself 'well how do i know this?', 'how do i found out that?', you probably shouldn't be investing in crypto alts or should just stick to something low risk and long term.
/ If you think thats harsh, then realise crypto is harsh. You either be smart, get smart quick, or you don't play. If you do this half-assed, you can probably guarantee youre losing your money.
