1) The second advent of Prophet (sa)

The "مِّنۡہُمۡ" in verse 62:2 connect "الۡاُمِّیّٖنَ" making clear that his birth AMONG Arabs.

The "مِّنۡہُمۡ" in 62:3 connect "اٰخَرِیۡنَ" tells his advent AMONG Persians.

Refer to the tafsir of Muhammad (sa) about the Persian reformer.

2) Mahdi and his companions will REPLACE the MUSLIMS. He will create his Jamma'at. The 72 sects will go against true Islam.

Sahaba were curious about the prophecy of Quran 47:38.

Muhammad (saw) did call him Salman. Can a better epithet be given to Mahdi of Persian descent?

3) Ahmad is the holy name of Rasool (saw).

If Imam Mahdi (as) is not the second advent of Muhammad (saw), then why must he have the same name as Muhammad? And why is his father's name the same as that of the Prophet's father?

In Khalq and Khulq, Mahdi will resemble Muhammad.

4) Al-Mahdi is a descendant of Fatimah (ra).

In Quran 11:17,

One who possesses clear proof = Muhammad (saw)

The evidence = Quran

A witness from Muhammad = Mahdi

"Testify to Muhammad's truth a witness FROM HIM shall FOLLOW HIM."

Don't confuse the witness itself as Quran.

5) Convergence with Jesus.

Quran 46:10 tells us that "A witness from among the Children of Israel has testified to something similar (book or the advent of one like him) and believed in it."

Mahdi coincides with Jesus. They both are 'witnesses' to Muhammad (saw) and Quran.

The companion Abdullah bin Salam (ra) is from the Ansar. Quran 46:10 is a Meccan revelation.

Ikrimah, Shabi, and Masruq say this verse cannot be about Abdullah, for this entire Surah was revealed at Makkah. Ibn Jarir Tabari too. Hadith in Bukhari is not from the mouth of Rasool.

6) Why Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) was named "Ibn Mariyam" or "Messiah"?

Ans. Waḥdat ash-Shuhūd.

Quran 46:10 - Jesus was a witness from the Children of Israel to testify Muhammad (saw) and Quran.

Quran 11:17 - Mahdi is the witness from Muhammad PBUH. He followed the Rasool.

7) The Big Picture

Jesus was pious who had gone before Muhammad (saw). Quran 3:55 proclaims the death of Jesus.

Rasool (saw) handle to name the Mahdi as Isa Ibn Mariyam. Sahih Muslim 2135 talks about such naming convention. Take a look at "O sister of Harun." (Quran 19:28)

Sedna Ahmad (as) was the first religious leader to prove the post-crucifixion journey of Jesus to India.

Jesus (as) continued on his mission, travelling east and preaching to the Lost Tribes of Israel, before finally being buried in the Rozabal Tomb in Srinagar, Kashmir.
