Cold calling is dead.

But in this thread I'm going to show you the exact process I use to get 10x the results of traditional cold calling - in half the time.

So here’s cold calling 2.0.

The only way to get results with cold calling.

// Thread //
If you’ve ever tried cold calling you know how difficult it can be.

When I started my agency, I was pumped to reach out to prospects.

Monday rolled around.

Picked up the phone and called 50 prospects in my local area.

0 decision-makers.
Woke up Tuesday.

Ready to go again.

This time 100 prospects.

1 decision-maker.
Wednesday.

Another 100 this day and spoke to 2 decision-makers.

0 positive responses so far.

Similar story for Thursday and Friday.

After that? I gave up.

Sound familiar?
Cold calling is HARD.

It’s inefficient & time-consuming.

It can be discouraging and deflates morale.

Especially as a beginner.
Why?

You’re calling people who have never heard of you.

They don’t know what you’re offering.

No frame.

No authority.

The answer?

Cold calling 2.0.
You’re no longer calling an endless list.

You’re calling people who have engaged with you in some format.

I know what you’re thinking - but that’s not cold calling!!

Technically no.

It’s just omnichannel outreach that ACTUALLY works.

What do you need?

1. Cold Email mastery
2. Google domain
3. $100m offers
4. An email sequence
5. Close
6. Zapier
7. Slack
8. Uplead
1. Buy & Watch cold email mastery.
(2x over if you're serious about making money)

If you’re B2B you need this.

Without this:

You’re either not outreaching.

Or your outreach is terrible.

Stop guessing with your business.

3. Buy $100m offers from Amazon for $0.99.

Read it twice and complete everything it says.

Then package your new offer into a headline.

Quantifiable results.

Quantifiable time.

Risk reversal.
Set up your CRM.

Connect your Gmail:
Go to integrations ➤ Gmail ➤ Then sign in

Create your email sequence:
(This is simple in Close)

Create your Smartview:
Go to leads ➤ Filter by ➤ Email ➤ Opened ➤ Today ➤ Save as Smartview.

Create a custom field for {firstline}
8. Scrape leads from Uplead.

Be as specific as you can.

Look for prospects who have a winning offer.

Or killer case study.

Or newly funded.

Money is made by being specific.
Why uplead? Verified Phone numbers.

You will waste hours calling unqualified prospects or Reaching assistants instead of decision-makers.

Spend time upfront and you’ll save more time overall.

Note: Any Scraping software that generates verified numbers will work.
Now all you have to do is upload contacts to close.

Subscribe them to the sequence you just created.
Now you have a cold email campaign set up and ready to go.

Here comes the good part...

That Zap you just set up?

That means every time a prospect opens an email you’re getting a notification in real-time.

Then you pick up the phone and call.
Why does it work?

They’re looking at their emails which means they’re free.

You’re on their mind.

They’re impressed you called just as they opened your email.

It's not a cold prospect.

You’ll call 1/10 of the prospects with 10x the results.
The pitch.

Know your pitch - this is why you go through $100m offers twice.

This is why I say create your headline.

Make it bold. You need to stand out.

What if I could get {results} in {timeframe} or {risk reversal). Would you be interested?
How else can you boost the conversion rate?

Know the follow-up questions.

Know the objections.

Have value you can provide upfront (E.g VSL).

Leave a voicemail If they don’t pick up.

Follow up rigorously.
As with anything you do in marketing & sales you need feedback loops.

At the end of every call make a note in the CRM on how it went.

At the end of every day mark the number of calls.

How many decision-makers.

How many booked meetings.

How many sales.

Any improvements?
I hope at least 1 of you implements this within your business and sees the results.
