The resident formally served the council members notice at last nights Mission Viejo City Council meeting.

It was specified that the City of Mission Viejo is NOT a party to the proceedings, making it improper for the city attorney to council the defendants/board members.

In addition to extending their own terms, the City of Mission Viejo is in the process of splitting into districts. City residents have expressed their concerns that the city is purposely creating districts that are focused around each current city council residence.
