Bottom line: If you want a Batman who is avenging the *unsolved* senseless murder of his parents, then he needs to be a POC. Or a woman whose sexual assault was shrugged off.

The cops, the mayor, even the fucking governor would make it a priority to solve the murder of a rich white billionaires. They’d find some Black guy to pin it on.

Now, Black Waynes (maybe first generation billionaires) shot by a cop who mistook them for criminals (because you know that could happen) and killed them in front of Bruce and still walked ... that gets you a vigilante.

The Black Bruce Wayne would know that the system, even one that his parents had seemingly mastered, still didn’t protect them.
