I guess it& #39;s been too long since the last one, so here& #39;s another reminder because this hasn& #39;t changed:

Using a VRChat client that has been modified, in ANY way, is against the Terms of Service and can result in a ban.

Those banned recently should be glad it& #39;s only 30 days.
"The mods are harmless!"

Still against TOS

"Rippers and crashers run rampant!"

Mods of all kinds are still against TOS. Also they don& #39;t complain when they get banned, they just make a new account

"Other platforms have <mod feature>!"

So leave VRChat and go there. You won& #39;t.
I& #39;m not excited about people getting banned, I agree that maybe VRChat& #39;s stance should change, and I wish all rippers and crashers a very fuck you.

Until our universe merges with the magical Christmasland one we have to work with what we have within the constraints we& #39;re given.
VRChat gives incredible power to its users to create. Power that is often wielded haphazardly and can easily be abused, but that& #39;s ultimately the price paid for access to the level of customization offered.

Nearly full control over your avatar is VRChat& #39;s defining feature.
Fact is, we aren& #39;t very likely to get another platform like VRChat. The thing companies want to invest in is stuff like Facebook& #39;s metaverse with pre-set customization options and paid cosmetics. Something with expected ROI.

It& #39;s a miracle that VRChat has even existed this long.
I& #39;m not saying you have to worship our lord and savior VRChat, but maybe try not being blindly vitriolic to them either.

I& #39;m just so tired of seeing "Hurr VRChat lets crashers run rampant" like VRChat is going to see it and go "Whoops, you& #39;re right, unbanning you now, sorry!"
