Get ready for some hybrid rambles bc I LOVE the thought of hyena hobi

hybrids had the same type of creepy laugh as their normal laugh, almost like a compulsive urge, and since Hobi just likes to laugh very often & practically at everything and that always scares people around him, he suppresses laughing out loud as much as he can.

When he starts dating yoongi he especially tries to hold back as much as possible, but one time they stay up very late just talking and giggling at stuff and oh no suddenly Hobi lets out a full laugh,,, and when he realises he goes   and gets nervous so he

continues to laugh compulsively, but contrary to what he expected, yoon only is like 'oh, you've never done that before I'd love to hear that more' ("it's cute ")

And Yoon doesn't even have to try hard to make him laugh, and whenever he manages to he tries to push it further, keeps saying more dumb jokes just to make Hobi laugh fully, which really helps hobi feel more comfortable with himself,

so he soon doesn't hold back anymore and already laughs at Yoon literally just breathing

Yoon:
Hobi: huhhuhoHeHehOHEHAHYE
Yoon: :] No I mean it, we're really out of coffee
Hobi: HUHYEGHAHHAHAYHAHAHHHAHAHA COFFEE
Yoon: *patpat* there, there *adds coffee to shopping list*

And later, when hobi remembers this conversation again he spits the coffee out from suddenly laughing at it
Yoon, chuckling, grabbing napkins:  :]

Whenever Yoon is venting and Hobi's concerned or nervous he has to keep apologizing because he keeps on 'laughing' but it doesn't actually bother Yoon, he knows hobi's just listening and empathising

Other people sometimes ask Yoongi how he handles living with him, but he really doesn't understand what they mean. When he sometimes hears a strikingly shrill giggle from the kitchen in the middle of the night where anybody else would probably shiver from fear, he just :]
