A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO GRAPHIC DESIGNING.

- A THREAD
Graphic designing is a visual art. the art of representing visual concepts. It's a way of showcasing ideas, concepts and creativity through visuals and designs.
Like other forms of visual arts, graphic designing too has it's own many classes/types,. It really depends upon your interest what you want to pick.
If you're a beginner and are interested in the concept of designing AND are clueless about what to choose, the best you can do is try the genres that interest you, to find out which one you like the most, and which one you want to specialize in.
Here are a couple of ways, you can learn designing. Please note, this is written by my own experience, and by other artist's experiences aswell. Some techniques may not work out for SOME people but I guarantee majority will benefit from these.
1. Learn the basics of the designing software you're using. Watching youtube tutorials to learn the basic concepts of designing will help you alot, I guarantee.
2. Be passionate. You will never learn if you're not passionate enough, if you lose interest easily in it, it's not for you. Put your heart into it.
Going with the flow (stable motivation, focus) for the first couple of days while you're at it will help you alot.
3. Ask for other people's opinions or help. Asking more experienced artists will help you alot. By having their opinions, you can easily fix your mistakes. Asking for their help with a tool or something that you're not familiar with will help you learn.
Accept criticism. Sometimes putting your pride to a side and accepting criticism can help you for sure.
4. Look for inspirations. Having inspirations that seem appealing to you will surely shape your designing style.
5. Find your style. This is a very important one. By looking at the work of artists that inspire you, practicing, getting out of your comfort zone and setting your expectations high for a little while, you can find it.
6. Join discord servers for designing. As there are communities out there that you can explore, you can meet experienced designers who can help you out, take part in competitions and hour-contests (HC), which will be a good opportunity to push your limits and learn further.
7. Download graphic packs. Graphic packs have resources that you can drag and drop onto your design. There are many free-to-use ones available. I suggest the free-to-use ones when you're a beginner, however you can make a investment if you like.
Remember, it all takes time. Nothing is instant and nothing is impossible either. There's no end to experience and improvement, either. Practice makes perfect.
