I'm an extremely lazy artist and if I can save up even seconds on a drawing process, I will do it. So I've decided to compile some tricks and functionalities I've found helping me a lot when drawing on Clip Studio Paint. Hopefully, they will help you too! [THREAD]
VECTOR LAYER, my beloved. If I'm working on lineart and I notice I'm not on a vector layer, my soul leaves my body. Aside from the control thickness, I looove the vector eraser. It helps me a lot during the lineart phase.
SELECTION TOOL, my best friend. I ALWAYS select to fill larger areas. Combine it with masks and you have everything you need. It also helps me during colouring: just CTRL+[left click] your desired layer and it will make a selection of it!
MASKS, my other best friend. This one comes with the selection tool. I hate cleaning up during the colouring phase, so I always try to minimize it. Masks help me blocking the shapes before applying colours to each part of the drawing.
These are just some few tricks from my process that I find helpful. There're a lot of other ways to doing things. In the end, it just comes to you and if you're comfortable with your art process!!
