//I’ve tested THOUSANDS of FB ads for over 4 years.

Here are 10 tips and tricks to make your FB Ads convert better//

[A THREAD]
1. Build a customer avatar (if you haven’t already)

What’s your ideal customer’s daily routine, interests, demographics?

Imagine if you followed them around for a full day - what would you see? (from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed).
Use these basic prompts to inspire deeper reflection.

>What do they eat?
>What do they watch/listen to?
>What do they read?
>What do they wear?
>Are they married?
>Etc.

When you feel lost, use this customer avatar to help you realign your messaging to make sure it’s spot on.
2. Stalk your competitors

What are they doing that you aren’t?

If they’ve been in the game for a long time, then they’re probably doing something right.

Learn from them.

There’s nothing wrong with using them as inspiration.
3. ALWAYS Use your research

Imagine creating that perfect message that compels your ideal customers to buy.

That comes from deep market research.
I guarantee you there’s a benefit, angle, or objection you haven’t incorporated yet into your ads… that could turn your performance around.

Find it and apply asap.
4. Emphasize your Unique Mechanism and USP

Create a unique name around your offer and incorporate the greatest ideal benefit your market will gain into the name itself.

This will psychologically embed what they want most right into your offer...
...and show them your offer is the answer to get what they want.

Guide Qs:

>Why should your prospects give you the time of day?
>What makes you stand out?
>What’s your offer’s “secret sauce”?

Let people know!

Still with me? The next tip is what most people take for granted.
5. Double check EVERYTHING

This is probably one of the most important lessons I’ve shared.

Make guidelines & checklists for:
-Media buying
-Making creatives
-Writing copy

This will significantly reduce the number of errors you/your team makes

Making you efficient & effective.
6. Test new angles

Pick 3-5 angles from your market research that you haven’t tested yet

Then create ads from those angles.

Use your winning templates for copy and creatives right away.

And don’t forget to address any objections in your copy.
7. Improve your ads’ efficiency (build off what’s already working)

1. Find the ads that showed huge potential in your tests.

2. Analyze why they worked.

3. Tweak the ads based on what you’ve learned

4. Re-launch them.

5. Then go back to step 2.
8. Optimize your funnel

Your ad isn’t the only thing that matters.

An optimized funnel could mean double or triple your current revenue.
Here’s what you need:

> Faster loading speed
> Seamless checkout process
> Straightforward CTAs
> Consistent
> Addresses trust/credibility (social proof, contact info, etc.)

Get this and see your CVR increase.
9. Be congruent throughout the funnel

Is the Headline, CTA, Creative, Copy, Landing Page congruent with each other?

A small tweak could make all the difference.
10. Create awesome ads

Here are some important elements ads should have:

> Attention-grabbing
> Slippery slope copy
> Benefit-driven
> Demo/Proof
> Guarantee
> Social proof/UGCs
> Clear CTA

Incorporate them now!
Takeaway:

If something isn’t working, find out why and improve it.

A good marketer knows how to adapt to different situations - that’s how they always come out on top.
