Katsuki doesn’t remember the sports festival being this long. Maybe it’s because he’s sitting in the stands instead of actually participating but still, his ass hurts from sitting in this tiny ass chair.

Anyway the first rounds of 1v1 fights have finished and the second round is beginning. The first years aren’t half bad this semester. Endeavors kid is definitely strong, especially for his age.

That zero gravity chick was pretty impressive when she had to go against Todoroki. And that purple hair kid did pretty well, even though he kept insulting him, which what the fuck?

But there was one student that stood out to Katsuki, and it was the green haired quirkless kid. He thinks Midnight had announced his name as Deku or something.

Anyway the kid had spirit and guts, and for someone without a quirk trying to be a hero, he needed that.

His moves and strength are impressive, and Katsuki could’ve sworn he has a speed quirk with how fast he moved, but he could tell that it was the kids intelligence that got him this far.

Midnight announced then that the second round of fights were starting, and first up were Endeavors kid and Deku.

This fight would decide for Katsuki If he will ask greenie to his agency or not.

It was finally time to return to classes after the sports festival, and Izuku was a nervous reck. He knew that there were people, even Heros, against him being in the Hero course. So he had a feeling that internships and work studies would be hard to get for himself.

As the class waited for Aizawa to show up, Shinso reassured him that everything would work out.

Finally the sleep deprived hero trudged into the classroom and began explaining how everything worked.

“Hero’s at the festival had a chance to put in a request for a particular student. This is how many requests each of you receive.”

Izuku looked up as the board displayed their names and a number next to it. He saw that Shouto and Ochako had a handful of requests, and Shinso had a couple as well.

Izuku went down the list, not seeing his name till the very bottom. But there was a 1 next to his name.

Someone wanted him, someone actually wanted the quirkless kid at their agency.

“Alright now I’ll be passing out a sheet that tells you which agency put in the request and allows you to list your top 3 picks.”

When Aizawa handed Izuku his sheet he smirked at him and patted his shoulder. He frowned at that and looked at Shinso who just shrugged.

But when he finally looked at the paper, he knew exactly what that look was for.

Right there under agency’s that have requested you, it says Dynamights.

Izuku looked at the paper for a total of 20 seconds before passing out.

Izuku was nervous, and could you blame him? He was about to, not only meet, but work with his second favorite hero of all time! All Might will always be number 1.

Not only was Dynamight his second favorite but he was also HOT AS FUCK. Like sir you’re a hero not a model calm down.

How was Izuku expected to just walk into the agency he was sitting in front of and not make a fool of himself?

Not to mention…

“Deku?” Izuku looked up at the sound of his hero name, and saw Denki looking at him literally buzzing with excitement.

“Denki!” In a blink of an eye the two friends were hugging.

“What were you doing just sitting there?” Denki asked, not letting Izuku pull back from the hug. Which was perfectly fine cause he needed the support.

“Panicking and waiting for you.”

“How LONG were you sitting there?” Denki finally pulled away so he could look at the young hero in training.

“I’m not sure, maybe an hour. I waited till Dynamight got here so he wouldn’t see me waiting.” Izuku mumbled.

“Oh my god did you watch him walk into the agency?” Izuku didn’t answer Denki’s question, instead just looked down sheepishly. The electric hero started laughing.

“Relax! He asked for you here right? That means you’ve proven yourself already!”

Izuku looked back up at him and blinked, “but the sports festival is different from an internship! What if he decides I’m not good enough on the field?”

“You keep saying shit like that and I might just start thinking that.”

Izuku’s eyes widened at the new voice, he watched as Denki looked over and smiled before being pulled into a side hug, now facing in the direction of the voice.

“Explody! Perfect timing, look who I found on my way in!”

It’s him, Dynamight is standing right in front of him. Dynamights talking to him, he’s /looking at him/. Izuku might just faint again.

“I told you to stop calling me dumb names at work, dunce face!”

“But you just-

“It’s my agency I can do what I want!”

Holy shit his voice is much deeper in person, and he’s so much taller. His face holds a deep scowl that Izuku feels through his body.

This guy looks like he’s been carved from stone, which Izuku already knew but seeing him in person is so much different from pictures.

“Hey quit mumbling, kid.” Dynamight snapped as he walked closer to the two of them.

Izuku straightened up at being addressed and quickly bowed, “Hello! It’s nice to meet you, thank you for this opportunity!”

“You already thanked me and I already told you that you earned this. So quit second guessing yourself and get to work already.” Dynamight said in an assertive yet calm voice, and it caused all the tension in Izuku’s shoulders to melt away.

Standing back up Izuku smiled and nodded, “Right, thank you Dynamight.”

The pro looked at him for a moment before nodding and turning to go back into the agency. Izuku almost missed the tint of red on the back of his neck and tips of his ears.

“We’ll have to work on your confidence while you’re here.” Dynamight called out as he held the door open for Denki and him.

“Imagine if you were as confident in the real world as you are on twitter?” Denki whispered to him and Izuku promptly elbowed him in the gut.

“Do you two know each other?” Dynamight asked with obvious suspicion as they finally walked inside.

“Nope.” They both said simultaneously.

Second day into this internship and Izuku was already losing his mind. He accidentally walked in on Dynamight changing into his hero costume this morning and got a nosebleed. How is he supposed to go a full week!

The day itself had actually been pretty slow, villains decided to take the day off apparently. So Denki had decided it was the perfect time to show Izuku around the agency.

He’d gotten the basic rundown the day before, like where the bathroom and locker rooms were-

But Denki was taking him to see all the offices.

“So Bakuhoe gets an office all to himself like an asshole. Sero and I share one and the happy couple of Mina and Eji share one.” The electric hero explained.

“The sidekicks all share the big space downstairs as you’ve seen, and the third floor has a couple of spare bedrooms for night shifts and Bakugou.”

“Dynamight has a room here?” Izuku asked, knowing that the Hero had a pretty nice apartment in the city.

“He basically lives here, guys married to his work. He swears he’s fine but I think he gets lonely in his big apartment.” Denki shrugged, looking worried for his friend. Izuku just nodded, also concerned.

Suddenly Denki stopped walking, standing in front of a door. Looking at the big wooden door Izuku read the name displayed, Dynamight: Bakugou Katsuki.

“Is this his office?” Izuku asked, grabbing his friends arm and shaking him.

“Yeah and no one is allowed in there while he’s gone.” Denki said, but the look on his face told Izuku he didn’t listen to that rule.

“The fuck are you doing with our intern Dunce?” A voice boomed down the hallway.

Izuku about jumped out of his skin, and turned towards his favorite hero. Dynamight was dressed in a casual version of his costume, missing his gauntlets and mask, and the look was very attractive.

Why did he think working here was a good idea?

“Just showing him around the office! Don’t want him getting lost do you?” Denki replied, throwing an arm around Izuku’s shoulders.

Dynamight looked between them with a squint, “You two really don’t know each other?”

“Nope! I’m just easy to get along with, unlike you.” Denki smirked while slowly hiding himself behind Izuku.

“You’re on bathroom cleaning duty.”

“WHAT?! That’s not fair!”

“Shouldn’t of talked shit. Deku, I need to talk to you.” Dynamight looked at him and nodded towards his office.

Izuku’s face heated up and panic ran through him, and Denki’s snicker while poking him didn’t help. “O-okay, sure!”

“Well I’ll just leave you to it then.” The electric hero smirked, giving a little wave before head to his own office.

Taking a deep breath Izuku turned back towards Dynamight only to see him already in his office.

Izuku stood in the doorway awkwardly, not quite sure if he should go in or not. He could see a couple of All Might posters hung up in frames, one was even signed.

“Oh wow! Have you met All Might?”

“Yeah, he actually taught at U.A. While I was a student there.” Dynamight said, falling into his desk chair. “You can come in, and close the door.”

Izuku did as he was instructed and smiled, “I met All Might once when I was little. He saved me from a sludge villain.”

Izuku was still admiring the signed poster as he recalled the memory, so he missed the way the Hero tensed up at the mention of that villain.

“So, Deku, How are you liking the internship so far?”

Izuku looked back at the hero and remembered that he was here for a reason. He quickly moved to stand in front of Dynamight and smiled, “It’s been great! I’ve already learned a lot and it’s only been a day and a half!”

“Good.” Dynamight nodded, seeming almost nervous. The hero kept running a hand through his hair and Izuku could hear one of his legs bouncing up and down.

“I’m the agencies first internship, right?” Izuku asked without thinking.

Dynamight looked up at him, shocked, and Izuku could’ve thrown himself out the window at that moment. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t of-“

“Yes, you are the agencies first internship.” Dynamight sighed, rubbing his eyes. “Sorry that it was so obvious.”

“No! I only know that because I keep up with what happens with you!” Izuku said quickly shaking his hands desperately.

The hero’s eyes widened at that, and it was then Izuku realized what he said.

“A-and the agency! Because it’s the f-fastest growing agency in h-history so.” He tried to backtrack, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. Dynamight looked at him for a long moment before just nodding.

“But you are doing a good job, Dynamight. I promise!” Izuku smiled.

“You’re the only agency that was willing to take a chance on the quirkless kid, and you’re treating me like anyone else. This experience will stay with me for the rest of my life in a very positive way. So don’t worry to much about getting it right, because you already have.”

Dynamight looked stunned at Izuku’s little speech, and honestly Izuku was stunned himself. He also couldn’t feel his legs anymore from the nerves but that’s not important.

“I- …Thanks.” Dynamight whispered before the alarm went off for a villain attack.

The two of them quickly jumped into action, heading to the locker room to get their gear.

And as they suited up Izuku tapped the hero on his shoulder and smiled, “You’re welcome.”
