Jiujiu & A-Ling angsty bits

Imagine JL was getting used to hunt with the juniors ft. WN and WWX (and by extension, LWJ).

Meanwhile, it's been awhile since he hunted with jiujiu.

So during JC's scarce visit to Lanling, they all went hunting together.

But then, when the juniors were in danger, out of reflex that's been honed for months, JL called for HGJ & WN instead of his jiujiu.

It was such a small thing.

JL didn't even realize what he did.

But to JC, it was another "oh" moment.

Oh, he thought. He was finally replaced.

JL didn't understand why jiujiu was snappier than usual. JL did fuck up a bit, but it's all resolved in the end! Why the sour face?? Seriously!

(Maybe it was a bad idea to invite WWX and Jiujiu to the same hunt, but it was a coincidence! WWX always tagged along with the Lans!)

But JL knew Jiujiu was pissed for real when the next day he brought YMJ contingent home. Some urgent matter or some shit. Lies, but JL couldn't stop him.

However, during the farewell, Jiujiu oddly smiled at him, and hugged him.
