i have a prediction

okay so i predict that loona, weki meki, and dreamcatcher will all come back in june, with dc mayyyybe being in early july. and like, obviously, twice will be promoting too, of course. june is gonna be a tough month for me lmao i feel like its gonna attack me

and i think if there is gonna be a red velvet comeback... maybe a full album, and maybe their last comeback before they enter a semi-hiatus/straight up disband... then that will be june or july as well

i hope rv doesnt disband btw, im not rooting for that to happen. but if it does happen, the only way i wont be mad about it is if they go out with a final full album that slaps from start to finish. something that cements their legacy as the greatest kpop group ever

yeah i said it. i mean it too lol, i think that's how they'll be remembered a decade from now. not necessarily the biggest, but definitely the most influential and unique and fascinating group ever

but yeah, like, if irene wants to settle down and focus on acting because she's 30 years old, more power to her. i cant be mad at that. if i was in her shoes, i'm not sure i would wanna keep promoting the way girl groups do forever

not sure what the other members will do though. i think seulgi could be one of the most iconic soloists of this decade hands down, and i hope that happens, but beyond that yeah idk. yeri is too young to retire but too experienced to just be added to another group, so idk

anyway, that's not important. all i'm saying is that if red velvet does wind down and stop being active (in a semi-disbanded state like what SM seems to like doing with their groups...), the only way we'll accept that is if they go out with a bang, and that should happen soon

in an ideal world, i mean, i want rv comebacks for the rest of my life lmao, but i know that's not how things work, unfortunately. i just hope psycho a year and a half ago isnt going to be the last ot5 comeback. its a good song, but you know... it was a year and a half ago

i understand what happened with wendy but she's been back now for probably almost the same amount of time she was on hiatus at this point. i think the only way this long inactivity is acceptable is if theyre working on the most amazing album of all time. i hope that's it

but uh anyway, yeah. i started this thread intending to talk about how i think a whole bunch of my ult groups are probably going to release stuff next month, and how yeah this month is stacked but next month could blow it out of the water, but i got sidetracked lol

if fromis's promotions overlap with weki meki, dreamcatcher, and loona, the four ults that ive had for most of my time as a kpop fan will all be promoting at once. that's probably unlikely tho, i think dc will be later in june, and fromis would prob be done then

also, weeekly are kinda higher up than loona is for me now.... but.... that's a recent development, so i still think of those other four groups as my iconic Top Four Ults or whatever lmao, idk
