Debunking Ljam's problematic actions: thread
Before I'll start...if you aren't part of queer community you have no right to call someone homophobic ESPECIALLY when they apologized. It's not your place to speak on it that would be speaking over us.
Duck Dynasty Family

What happened? He said he was a fan of the duck dynasty show. At that moment he literally didn't know about how homophobic Phil (father of family) is.
He made a tweet in which he said that being a fan of someone doesn't mean that you agree with their actions, which is true.
"He was in contact with them even after that"
No, he wasn't. He just wished Willie happy birthday. And yes he met Sadie and Mark at shop but again they weren't the homophobic one in the family. But they aren't responsible for Phil's actions.
Girl Almighty

In 2015 Ljam said GA is about trying to find number one woman of your life. Then he said none of the fans can relate to it expect for the boys. Which was ignorant of him. Later he tweeted this. Yes, he should actually apologize and all of us still want him to.
Saudi Arabia

In 2019 Ljam was one of the artist that performed there. If you don't know in Saudi Arabia is being queer illegal. But Ljam isn't choosing where to preform, that's on his team. And because their governments are homophobic doesn't mean people who live there are.
The Rainbow Project

Again in 2015 queer fans started project to make other queer fans feel safe and valid. It gained attention from the media. Even when creator of it said the project isn't about Larry there was signs like these.
And when Ljam was interviewed by Attitude, a gay magazine he said "I think that was mainly because people think of the L0uis and H@rry thing, which is absolutely nuts and drives me insane". And you all love to turn his words around by saying he was bothered by pride flags.
When actually he was bothered by people bringing pride flags/signs BECAUSE OF LARRY. He never said that he has problem with flags/signs themselves but by people bringing them because of Larry.
Adidas' Prouder campaign

Liam was asked what makes him proud he answered "I think since I've had a little boy, everything changes in life. I'm aiming more for him to be prouder of me and already he's making me a better man, which I think is incredible."
He was obviously talking about his son. Now, yes it was article about queer community and Ljam NEVER specified his sexuality but he said he isn't gay (we don't know if he meant it as umbrella term) and here's more sexualities. So he when he was asked he answered that way.
Because if he's heterosexual man he didn't have anything else to say when they asked what makes him proud than his own life. And if he's queer man then he's in the closet so he changed the conversation into his personal life when they asked him.
Dolce and Gabbana

People say Ljam promise to attend the pride show but here's none proof of that and instead it he attended D&G shows. The whole brand itself never was homophobic but it's two directors were. Ljam also wore their brand from time to time.
But a lot of famous brands have problematic past. For example Gucci was openly racist but I don't see you all calling people that wear their brand and attending their shows racist so why you all call Ljam homophobic for it?
Both Ways

I have made thread about that as a single part. L https://twitter.com/evermoreweekend/status/1368953611707891714?s=19
"He has transphobic friends"

People say that because of how T0m F€lton was part of Ljam's show. Actually they aren't even friends, show was first time and last time he mentioned him. He never said anything about him after or before. He just talked about Harry Potter.
Problem with man wearing dresses

Now I added this only to explain every rumor about Ljam but some of you all assuming he's homophobic because of this but man that wear dress isn't always queer.
In 2017 Ljam made a JOKE about how he wouldn't let H@rry babysit his son because he would dress his son into something Ljam wouldn't understand. But in 2017 H@rry publicly didn't wear dresses, he dressed just not by society's definition of masculinity.
Also Ljam in 2020 said that he facetimed with his son while his son was wearing a princess dress. And in 2011 Ljam himself wore a skirt and heels and H@rry made a tweet about it.
He also wore tullu during 1D concert and before he was famous he once dressed as a fairy.
Most of this thread is from this thread but because it isn't only about debuting rumors I made one just for it because some people are too lazy to read it all. So a lot of credits goes to this person, I personally also added a few things tho. https://twitter.com/123gemmag/status/1312486185483132928?s=19
The end. Sorry for any possible mistakes I made, english isn't my first language.
Also here's thread about Liam supporting queer community <3 https://twitter.com/93SHMB/status/1388897167897767938?s=19
