SANDBOX PH TWITTER THREAD | As the days are nearing a round of business pitching, Team Maharlika recollects the experiences they have experienced as a group of aspiring start-up founders.
Before proceeding to this thread, there are some parts of the photos in this thread that were blurred for privacy.
How did Team Maharlika know about Sandbox PH?
During that time, one of the members was scrolling around Facebook and saw an advertisement. While the name of the said page reminds everyone in the comment section about a K-Drama, the deal was bigger than that...

The said page is a competition for startups, and since Team Maharlika already laid the first steps to become a successful one in the near future, the team registered for the competition by @Sandb0xSchool.
And now, the product...
Team Maharlika decided to make a new project that was a robot that will help the agricultural sector to boost the yields of the crops, as there is already a looming crisis in the Philippine agricultural sector.

After some conceptualizations about the features that will be on the product as well as the capabilities for it, the team finalized that it will be named "Ani-BOT".
This is a fusion of two words, "ani", which means "to harvest" in English, and robot, thus the name, "Ani-BOT".

Fortunately, the conceptualization of the Ani-BOT product did make it into one of the semi-finalists for Sandbox PH's competition.
This was the start of a new beginning not only for the team but for the beneficiaries of our product, our hardworking Filipino farmers.

Fast forward to the orientation, where we met all of the other teams, which soon will be collaborating with us in the near future as allies or partners in the startup economy.
In lieu of this, the team met the amazing team behind Sandbox, led by @leiantg, a really cool guy who wants to help those who are willing to make a disruptive change for the betterment of all.
By looking upon other participants joining in the said competition, the team felt inspired to give their best in making the Ani-BOT not just as a product, but a product that will assist farmers and be an important factor in invigorating the future...
What is this "future"?
What the team pertains to the "future" that our product may make a change in the future of our country's agriculture.

Yet, as a budding leaf in the tree that is the startup economy, there might be things that may slow or halt the vision for Ani-BOT to redefine the future of agriculture.
This is where @Sandb0xSchool comes into play to enhance our knowledge when it comes to managing startups.

The first one is the mafias, where six teams are formed as a "mafia" in order to know each other better and give out suggestions for the benefit of the other team.
And Sir Richard, an incredible guy, which can only be summarized as a "super nerd".

Along with these two are talks, where all of the teams learn from speakers on how to improve our startup as of this point.
In addition fireside chats too were also beneficial for all of us. To refresh our minds about the learnings that the team had, one of us would record it.

(The screenshots of the recordings were only made private for us, with the sole purpose of reviewing the topics that one of us may miss due to some uncontrollable reasons, e.g., Wi-Fi.)
Overall, the team are really eager to look upon and check out the stories and the content that were given by the speakers...
The community that all of us have made are wholesome too, as an example, the two screenshots that we have in our recording are about UI/UX Design and Lean Six Sigma...
And, icebreakers during our mafia meetings with @hicarl...
The team also had fun meeting with other teams too, and the team can truly say that they are truly astounding in what they are doing right now...
The team is addicted to listening in the Korean girl group TWICE, one being a Jihyo stan and the other being a Tzuyu stan.
"After School" is also played repetitively in the bot commands...

While having all of these fun memories in the past few weeks, the team also got their hardships.
The primary reasons are the load that is given to some members of the team, and along with other reasons, one of us quitted.
However, the team needs to move along...

Soon enough the team found a replacement, and we are ready to go once again...
By ending this thread, the team does not find the contest as a thing now, as collaborating and having to pick up such experiences made us better during the course of this journey.
