Last plea: it saddens me to see some people slagging off Theo and calling him names (I have no time for anyone blaming Ruth). I know you& #39;re processing and some of it& #39;s light-hearted, but while his exit was utterly graceless, there are always 2 sides to a story. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🧵" title="Thread" aria-label="Emoji: Thread">
He clearly had fun on set with the other actors and everyone said he was good to work with. I really support Rose, Crystal etc. - they& #39;re wonderful female role models and it& #39;s a shame they suffered from the fallout of what must have been a major disagreement with the producers.
I& #39;m not trying to be a Theo apologist but it seems as if knew ages ago that he wasn& #39;t on board for Season 2. Perhaps they thought they could win him round after the lockdown(s). I feel we were led up the garden path a bit.
This may be extreme but we have joked about being in a cult and now it feels like we& #39;re being asked to believe that they always intended Sidney to be a stepping stone on Charlotte& #39;s true path to happiness, that he was weak and selfish, it was primarily a sexual attraction, etc.
(And I don& #39;t know why Paula Byrne - whose work I love - was the one sent out to fight the fire?)
Anyway, who knows, I may end up watching it one day and sighing about what could have been! Back 2 work https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😀" title="Grinsendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Grinsendes Gesicht">
