I feel intimidated by the Afghan government after I asked it for evidence. On Saturday, three bombs killed around 80 teenage girls in Kabul. The govt. said the Taliban was behind the bombing, but I asked how they found it out when police were not on the site in the first 2 hours.
As soon as bombs exploded the female students on Saturday afternoon, police and ambulance arrived there to only evacuate the dead bodies. When police vehicles drove over the dead bodies, people got angry. Police left the area. https://twitter.com/FForotan/status/1391238838559850498?s=20
Pieces of bodies were left out on the street, and drops of blood were splashed everywhere. Without investigating, the Afghan government blamed the Taliban for the bombing. I asked a spokesperson of the government in a WhatsApp group how the government found it out.
Hours later, the spokesperson of the Afghan government released a statement that read “Terrorists sneaked into news WhatsApp groups and spread propaganda in favor of terrorist groups.”
I do a simple job of a journalist: fact-checking https://twitter.com/TariqArian3/status/1391469615860133888?s=20
Instead of answering very valid questions, the Afghan government released a statement and accused me--indirectly--of being a "terrorist."
