I wanted to take this moment to say Happy #AsianPacificHeritageMonth #APIHM <3
A reminder that although grouped together and celebrated in one month, Asian and Pacific Islander identities could not be more different. (+)

The cultures, the heritage, the communities are so rich and full of information. From the Polynesian islands, Micronesian islands, Melanesian islands to the continent of Asia (which comprise of so many different countries, people and identities!)

Please know that you are all valid and loved. No matter how big or small of an island/country you come from. You deserve to be represented and acknowledge even without a month dedicated to you all.

Another thing to mention is that Pacific Islander erasure is real in APHM/AAPIHM, and so I will link a thread(s) below to educate as well recognize members of my own community.
