The entire book of Judges seems to be the stories of a replaced Israel who intermittently entered into slavery in their own land. This was because they missed God's pattern.
In all the battles they fought in the wilderness, during the era of Moses, they fought as a nation not as individual tribes.
They against King Og of Bashan and king Sihon of the Amorites, who were great kings and great nations, but the united forces of Israel under the command of Joshua won great victories and dispossessed these nations of their lands (Numb.21:21-25).
The battle against Jericho was fought and won as a united force, but today we see a tribalistic, disintegrated Israel. We see the Amorites forcing the tribe of Dan to the mountains while they occupy the plains, what a tragedy.
Whenever God’s people deviate from divine patterns, they create loopholes for Satan to attack their liberty. Strange or ungodly patterns, no matter how fanciful and productive they may appeal at first, have a satanic mandate that must be carried out in the long run.
Giving the enemy no room means tracing your way back to the original pattern and abiding by it.
TURNING POINT: Whenever we deviate from divine patterns, we are giving Satan loophole to attack our liberty.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, help me to close up any loopholes that I may have opened up to the enemies in my life.
