- The situation happening against Muslims in France (beginnings of an ethnic cleanse)
-Soviet deportations from Estonia in 1949
-Turkish massacre of Armenians during World War I

Oh yes, the Nazi Holocaust of European Jews in the 1930s and '40s- Discussed heavily in schools as the most severe and apparently devastating example of a violation of human rights (funny enough, the same group that are ethnically cleansing Palestinians from THEIR land)
