The both-sides language of "clashes" and "conflict" obscures the fact that what's happening in East Jerusalem is illegal under international law and amounts to ethnic cleansing.

2. What is happening in Palestine is not a “Conflict”. It is not a misunderstanding. It is not the “inability to coexist. It is apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and genocide

3. It is not "Palestine-Isreal Conflict". A conflict is a sort of symmetry of power,which in this case there is none. It is Israel's illegal occupation, it is the oppression of Palestine. It is apartheid, it is stripping Palestinians of their human rights, it is ethnic cleansing.

4. Too often violence in the Palestine is written off as 'conflict' or isolated 'clashes' or disagreement. It's not.

What is happening in #SheikhJarrah is part of the ongoing displacement of Israeli settler colonialism.

5. "Clashes" are not proportionate words for what is happening in Israel/Palestine.

This is an apartheid system, a brutal colonial oppression of an entire people by a state with overwhelming military force, carried out with impunity.

6. What’s happening between Palestine and israel is NOT series of clashes. When only one side is occupying power and attacking innocent people, it’s called oppression.
