Rasam ❀ The best medicinal food cleanses the digestive & respiratory systems so well
In a bowl add water
lemon sized tamarind
Curry leaves
Green chillies
Turmeric
Salt
A piece of Ginger

Let this boil for atleast 10min on a high flame
Take a pan, add cooking oil, mustard seeds, cumin, fenugreek seeds, red chillie, asefotida and add Finely chopped tomatoes & crushed garlic. Let this saute for a minute. Then add some Rasam Powder ( avl ready made). I add my handmade Karnataka/chettinad style rasam power.
After the tomatoes seem cooked, add half tea spoon of pepper power and a pinch of cardamom seeds.
Saute and add the boiled water to this. Let it boil for a minute and finally add chopped coriander.

😋 Tasty Rasam Ready with boiling hot rice and ghee 🙂
