1. From Gokwe to Oxford; The Writing Journey

It was both challenging and rewarding. The challenges are what led to chapter two of the book where I write about how I was battling myself on whether to tell my story or not.

2. You see when you reach a particular place in life it is easy to lose sight of where you are coming from. For me being in Oxford associated me with “affluence” while telling my story would reveal the struggles, the pain and the scars it took for me to get there.

3. When you open the door to the past many memories come flooding in and that can be challenging. Despite all this it was the most rewarding journey of my life.
