I am seriously beginning to wonder if it’s becoming a thing among most Filipinos to lack the basic ability to comprehend consecutive questions. If you ask two (just 2) questions, 95% of the time the other person will just answer one of them. Regardless of age and gender.+

You can talk to a student, a customer service representative, a BNS shop owner, or an office administrator, and the result is the same. You end up repeating yourself and the questions you already asked.+

Been noticing a lot of this lately, and it’s alarming because instances like these are increasing. Multiple questions in inquiries should not entail complex mental processes. It’s literally identifying what the first question is, answering it, then moving on to the next one.+

What this shows is a severe decline in people’s comprehension skills, which
by extension could very well be an indictment of our educational system.

Nakakalungkot.
^There was a QRT in this thread (Exhibit A) that I deleted at the OP’s very polite request (w/c I wholly appreciate), but the people that QRTed it were just reacting to an individual tweet without reading the context... which ironically proves my point at the top of this thread🙄
