Liz Cheney is (correctly) betting that Trump will be so toxic by 2024, even the republicans will be pretending he doesn’t exist. So she’s forcing them all to side with him and against her, so she can use it against them when she runs for President. None of this is complicated.
Liz Cheney is twenty times smarter than that brain dead nitwit Kevin McCarthy. Do you really think she’d lose to him like this unless it was on purpose? She’s smart enough to know Trump is 100% toast. McCarthy, who has an IQ near zero, is too dumb to figure that out.
Cheney is the third highest ranking member of the House minority party. It’s barely even a real title. It’s like assistant to the regional manager. She couldn’t care less about keeping that title. She’s forcing them to take it away from her, so she can use it against them later.
Even as Cheney sets herself up for 2024 in a way that the other republicans are too dumb to understand, she’s also baited all of you to go soft on her, even though she’s a corrupt far right extremist who’s every bit as pure evil as her father.
Trump will be pure kryptonite to the republicans by 2024, in prison, broke, senile, widely seen as a loser and a punchline. Even his “base” will have moved on to look for a new far-right strongman to latch onto, because that’s what those types always do once their strongman falls
Liz Cheney knows that the GOP leadership has to worry about losing in 2022 if they kick Trump too early. But she can kick Trump now, and then take credit in 2024 for having begun kicking him before the rest of her party inevitably started kicking him.
In some sense, Liz Cheney is now a bigger threat to America than Trump is. Because unlike him, she’ll still be standing by 2024. And she’s capable of just as much evil carnage as Trump was. She is her father, and we all remember how that played out.
Don’t naively fall for Liz Cheney when she’s merely taking a “stand” against a guy who’s toast anyway, and giving up a low level title she didn’t care about anyway. If she hurts the republicans in the short term, great. But this isn’t some noble effort. It’s just ambition.
It’s so plainly obvious what Liz Cheney is doing with this. Yet you don’t hear a single media pundit (on either side) acknowledging it. They’re not capable of collectively being that clueless. They know. It’s just that the facts don’t fit their current ratings-driven narrative.
One thing I’ve sadly observed from the American mainstream political media over the past several years is that if a certain narrative is bringing home the ratings bacon, any facts or developments that poke holes in that narrative will be ignored. Left right or center.
“Trump is consolidating power and will make a magic comeback” is the false narrative both sides want to hear right now; the defeated right needs hope, and the left always wants to be told it’s losing. So the media pushes only this narrative. The real Liz Cheney story be damned.
Many of you are reading this and realizing my logic is flawless, but hesitating because every other pundit is saying the opposite. You’re wondering if it’s possible they could all be wrong. But now you’re thinking back to all the other times they were all wrong and I was right.
Ask yourself how it’s possible that every single pundit out there coincidentally has the exact same interpretation of the Liz Cheney story. That’s because they all just latch onto each other and give each other cover. Then it doesn’t matter when they’re all proven wrong.
The hilarious part is that when things work out pretty much how I’m saying they will, the other pundits will all act shocked. They’ll say how improbable it was, that no one could have seen it coming. None of them will acknowledge that I had it right. Just like every other time.
And no, I don’t care how arrogant this sounds. I’ve spent six years being proven correct over and over again, when every other pundit was wrong, and not one pundit or news outlet has EVER admitted I’ve gotten anything right. If I don’t give myself credit for it, no one ever will.
