Kumar Sanu - you hate him or you love him. For me, his songs define simplicity. And while he has delivered his biggest hits with Nadeem Shravan, some of his soulful and straight from the heart gems have been tuned Jatin Lalit. Some of my top picks of the combo are (part 1 of n)
1) Jatin Lalit probably got Sanu to Yodeling in this Rahul Roy Mamta starred - Bhookamp. Sanu plays second fiddle to Alka, and enter after 2 mins... and stamps his authority. Yehi woh jagah thi - Bhookamp

2) This Saif Twinkle movie never got a decent release. Some called it Mr Aashiq, some Yeh Hai Mumbai meri Jaan. Overall, the album has really good songs, and this one takes the cake. Die hard Sanu fans swear by this song. Mera chand mujhe . Part 3 of n
3) Bada Din - another flop movie with amazing songs. And Sanuda gave his heart and soul into this number. Is gaane ke baare main kya bolun... sun lo. Kehta hai Yeh Safar . Part 4 of n
4) Jatin Lalit have an underrated score in Sangharsh, their first decent collaboration with Sonu Nigam. There is one number which is crooned by Sanuda. The perfect song in these troubled times. Listen with a glass of whiskey in hand. Naraaz Savera
5) Both JL and Sanu were waning out by 2002, and came this breezy melody from Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar. Most of you must have missed it. For vintage Sanu - Kavita days. Jaane kab anjaane.
