How to purchase $SHIB with $ETH in NY

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD CB + CB Wallet
STEP 2:
Purchase Ethereum ($ETH) on Coinbase then transfer into your CB Wallet.
ON CB — Click “send crypto to another wallet”
Once prompt to put in address, go to your CB Wallet.
ON CB WALLET— Click “RECEIVE”. Search for "ETH"
Copy the address then go back to CB.

the important part is purchasing enough ETH for the transfer fees + miner’s fee/gas fee.

STEP 3: Open http://UniSwap.org through the browser section in your CB Wallet or go on the regular browser (such as Chrome or Safari).
Connect your wallet to the site.

ON UniSwap—
Choose ETH for the top section.
Search for SHIB (you will have to add it) for the bottom.
Type in desired ETH amount you will like to convert.
Below is the amount @ 10:07PM 5/10/21.
(13M is my amount)

STEP 5: Click the settings circle on the top right corner.
Change the "slippage %" to 1% then press "swap."
Go back to wallet to confirm.
It will ask to approve the miner’s fee and press confirm.
May take a few minutes to show $SHIB coins in wallet.

Failed Transactions:
if there a huge price change or you forget to change the “slippage %,” then it runs the risk of it failing.
That means that the network could not process your transaction because it did not meet the requirements.

Your invested $ETH will be refunded, except for the miner’s fee.

Tip: be mindful of the (-0.00%) next to the number under the $SHIB amount. There may be times were the market will be moving up and down unpredictably.
