This may sound vague due to recent events, but this is also a general statement that I've been wanting to say for a while.

Okay..

I'm gonna need y'all to that there's a difference between a minor having a public, explicitly NSFW account and a minor having a private NSFW account.

A minor with a public NSFW account is... troublesome for reasons that should be obvious, especially when said minor does not have their age in bio (which is why many NSFW accounts encourage people to have age in bio or else, it would result with a block).

^^ not to mention that this troubling behavior can go from "twitter gossip" to an actual legal problem.

However, a minor with a private NSFW account is fine.

I think people tend to forget that as you reach the ages of 13-14, you tend to get curious about your own body. No matter how many purist teens you find on twitter, teens actually watch porn (NEWS FLASH!).

And that's okay! It's curiosity. It becomes a problem when minors step into adult territory and try to interact with said adults. It doesn't matter if you're "mature enough". If you are not of age, then back off.

It's fine to lurk. Its simply just curiosity and teenagers should not be shamed for being curious about porn or just sex in general. It's normal. Shaming them would make them feel as if they're "dirty" for having thoughts that are normal for their age.

Not to mention that it pushes the ridiculous puritanical idea that sex should be something "sacred".
