Okay, since it's been about 5 hours since the two initial tweets, here's the results:

The tweet with the keywords that bots tend to target got ~3x the exposure overall than the plain tweet, likes and comments were requested in order to boost in the algorithm to see how the (1/9)
tweets preformed over time and what audiences they reached. The two tweets (one with and one without keywords) received ~80,~70 likes accordingly, and 14 comments each at the time of constructing this thread.

The interaction on the tweets could be low due to the nature of (2/9)
the tweets themselves (begging for interaction with no content), or could be due to people checking those keywords and not interacting or bots viewing the tweets. Overall, the tweets only received 2 actual bot comments, though multiple dms were sent to me (as shown), so it (3/9)
could be assumed that the tags didn't have any affect on the actual interaction. HOWEVER, a majority of the interaction on the keyworded tweet reached an audience not already familiar with my content (non-followers/friends), and the two tweets in general seemed to appear to (4/9)
different audiences entirely. The non keyworded tweet even appeared later on the timelines of people who often interact with me. Additionally, the keyworded tweet gained more interaction more quickly than the first tweet, which could lead to the algorithm picking the tweet (5/9)
up more quickly and boosting it. Even as I type this the numbers are continuing to fluctuate, but I can pretty confidently say that I do believe the bot interaction does inflate the post to the algorithm and promote it, which is cool to know! Gather your bot army for clout (6/9)
I guess? I'm sure the quality of the post itself and the amount of promo you do does have an effect, as well as if the keywords are tossed in the post itself or a comment underneath. But it'd be really interesting to test again in a more realistic setting! Science is fun!! (7/9)
Thanks to everyone for being a good sport and participating in me abusing my stem degree and following. You're all sweeties and honorary smooches for all participants. I promise not to abuse this power you have given me (maybe). If anyone wants more analytics updates I'd be (8/9)
more than happy to share! I can toss the breakdowns in another reply just lmk, I just think the whole thing is really cool! The bots are such a scourge on artists, but if they can use them to boost their own art, it'd be a really cool turn of events! Good luck with ur army! (9/9)
