I think that schools & districts exist in different communities with different COVID risks & different abilities to invest in quality anti-COVID mitigation. This issue is complicated, but there& #39;s a lot of evidence that closing schools can save lives and prevent COVID spread. 8/8
n.b. I still think the best way out is through a paid lockdown while we get as many folks vaccinated as possible. I don& #39;t want school building closed forever. No one wants that. I do want children, families, and school staff to be safer than what we have now.
