India isn't the only country overwhelmed by COVID. Nepal is struggling. And the @nytimes reports that the pandemic is a threat to those climbing Mt. Everest. Newsflash: they actually have oxygen. @nytimes evidence no regard for the ~30 million Nepalese who don't climb mountains.

Also, that the @nytimes opined about the "summiters" being affected is even more outrageous because these summiters pay about $1 million dollars to climb that fucking piece of rock.

He brilliantly turns the trope on its head:

We are pleading with our friends around the world to urgently provide us w/ essential medical items, life-saving drugs & vaccines. The only way out of these twin challenges– climate change & the pandemic –is solidarity. The only way out is fighting together, as a global family."
