Introduction: The Four Archetypes of the Mature Masculine

A Jungian psychologist, Robert Moor, claimed that masculinity is made up of four different archetypal energies.

All men, regardless of time and place, are born with these archetypal energies.

Mastering these 4 archetypes is crucial to becoming a complete man.

These 4 energies are derived from Jung's idea of collective consciousness-

The instinctual and universal thought patterns that humans developed over thousands of years of evolution.

No matter who you are, these primal energies are within you.

The purpose of these archetypes is not to be a personality test.

Rather as energies found in all men at varying levels.

Within each of these energies exist 2 bi-polar shadows and the full expression. (as seen below)

The four energies are: King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover

They can be even further split into their boy counterparts: Divine Child, The Hero, Precocious Child, and Oedipal Child

Over the next few days, I'll be posting a thread on each archetype detailing what it is, its importance, and how to cultivate it.

It is best to focus on your strongest asset and master it before moving on to others.
