I have the uncanny ability to know when my mutuals get book deals.
Once, one of you posted a picture of flowers and my brain went, "those are book deal flowers."
They were, indeed, book deal flowers.
Yes, this is a specific example, but I have successfully predicted 15+ deals.
I'm not talking about people w/ vague tweets. I'm talking about those who haven't tweeted anything even hinting at a deal and haven't told me.
And I will know.
In case you're agonizing over not being able to tell folks yet. Just know I already know! Yay!
*stares at two mutuals*
To be fair, more than two of my mutuals have deals they have yet to announce, but some of them have vague tweeted, so I'm not counting them.
My hair is this big because it is full of secrets.
Publishing secrets.
I never DM these mutuals before their announcements to ask, because I'm always afraid me asking will cause unnecessary stress. Or will cause people to retrace their entire Twitter feed for months to see where they slipped up.
But it requires so much restraint because I love celebrating other writers and cheering on their successes. It is one of my favorite things.
So, here I sit, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for these mutuals to announce. It could be weeks. It could be months. Sigh.
For the disbelievers, I have tweet evidence. Tweevidence, if you will. And yes, this has been going on for multiple years.

I also want to reiterate that I will NEVER NEVER EVER spoil someone's announcement. That's not what this thread is about. I will legit wait a year* for an announcement so I can excitedly congratulate you and add your book on GR.
*this isn't an exaggeration. I have done this.
