Ive just been sitting here thinking about how Kagome and Solara would work in a fighting game and i figured i might as well share some of that cause why not lol
For starters, they would be just one character. Not separate slots. Its more the puppeteer play style. They arent easy to use or fight against.
Ill start with Kagome though and say that she does exactly what you are thinking shed do. Absolutely nothing but jojo poses. All attacks come from Solara. They have separate health bars with kagome& #39;s being tanky because Solara can also hit her. Kill Solara first, you win round.
Solara is what makes the team. When she follows Kagome, she is very limited. No jumps or aerials. However all dashes are replaced by teleports that can be canceled from strikes. She also has command grabs that can also grab Kagome as she uses her as area of effect.
If Kagome is taken out the picture first, then you get full access and control to solara. This is where you can turn your brain all the way off. She has a vengance gauge that builds up from damage or blocking and enhances only supers.
The idea is that Kagome is in the way for both the player and opponent as they only face her, and taking her out, the fight actually starts. Oh and Solara has a block button when following and Kagome does not block at all.
