Honestly, writing this made me realize how much I projected myself into my own characters.
I was bullied with no friends throughout the entirety of primary school, like Max, meaning I had no positive relations to anyone my age, therefore assumed everyone else my age would (1/?) https://twitter.com/yatsurask/status/1391856122978578443

Hate me, so I stooped very low at the start of secondary school to counteract that, like half-light and hoopa's dynamic (if you knew me in y7 you'd know what I'm referencing)
'tom was used moreso to represent what I wanted to be in the future, shown by how he was happy after escaping Malwhere and his overall personality reflects how I wanted to be when writing the comic, and honestly what I based my personality off going into college.
Orlov doesn't talk and neither did I for like a year or so, asides from to my closest friends.
No I won't elaborate on this one.

Mimer represented a mix of both me in early year 7, who would literally attack anyone on sight, and his ability to materialise objects reflected how I felt making this, that I could literally do anything in this fictional world.
Personality wise, while I quit the comic before I got this far, Max would often prefer to play by himself in his own imaginary world than with other people, which is exactly what I would do in primary school (this is probably directly linked to the first point in this thread)
