white gays at this point are worshipped, like if anderson cooper, andy cohen and neil patrick harris took one step to the left maybe we could begin talking about how conversion therapy is still legal in 30 states

like just generally there is no direction for the (gay) movement, y'all got marriage and said THATS IT and everyone started running off in their own direction arguing about shit that doesn't matter.

also next time someone says "she threw the first brick at stonewall" i'm going to explode because let's talk about how stonewall was partially antagonized by white gays refusing to allow black trans women in pride because-

"it wasn't a good look". marsha p johnson was just as ostracized by white gays and lesbians as she was by police, but every july people just CONVENIENTLY forget the first part. like this community is so damn annoying sometimes

like, at that time, police were raiding queer bars trying to destroy their business, and the white bars/gays would pay them off while completely ignoring what happened to the bars that allowed black/trans women to perform. it's one google search

the gay community can't even let a black queen win a season of drag race without claiming she only won because she's black, through and fucking through racism within the gay community has NEVER been addressed, mostly because those same white gays control who gets paid.

and also another conversation for another time but since when did white gays get so comfortable just stealing from other people in their community? it's always calling themselves homophobic "as a joke" but they literally do 100x worse shit to everybody???
