Over the last five years I have been highly critical of those who said labour could go nothing because they 'weren't in power you know' and who pushed that dumbest of strategies 'don't interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake' (God give me strength ). And now we are

seeing why. As those assholes have stood by and made excuses for their fawning inaction (yes, many of them happily supported that stance to facilitate the brexit they desperately wanted) the Tories have been undermining our democracy, our standards in public life, our very way

of life and even our sovereignty. Most of all they have been taking control of our democracy. Not without warning, everything has been in plain site, called out by commentators repeatedly. And as the opposition refused to interrupt, the Tories have had a field day. As they

capitulated, the Tories have entrenched themselves. As they allowed ideology to deny the people a voice, the Tories have taken ever greater control of key media.
As they refused to join those with common cause to stop the tyrants, the country has been stolen. Soon time will run

out. If Labour don't stop bickering and engage in a #ProgressiveAlliance now it will be too late. They will be outflanked once more, denying them any chance to build what is necessary before another election is called.

Of course, they will blame everyone who didn't endorse their

ideology for letting the tories in. Their sanctimonious extremes will wring their hands but satisfy themselves it's not their fault that people are oppressed.

The Tories will be all but immovable if (when?) Scotland secedes.

All predictable, all predicted, ID cards, end to

FTP, FPTP embedded for another 50 years, NHS sold off, charter cities for the rich and ever more poverty for the rest, economy devastated, reputation on the world stage destroyed and more and more and more...

And all while the opposition oh so cleverly didn't interrupt.
