Literally everything about the mall as a all day social hub. https://twitter.com/bigjacks/status/1391814262813827073
Like first, the fact that you probably weren't even gonna buy anything.
Second, the fact that you basically just walked around that bitch in a flight pattern, pausing in little clusters at a store where your friend worked or food court or wherever.
Third, the very fact that "meet me at the mall" with no exact time and no specific location in the mall with no cell and no social media worked just fine
This was basically me every Saturday. Well, 4-5 hours in the mall and then the dollar movies across the street when it closed. https://twitter.com/tiaphd/status/1391839732766756869
Also kids wouldn't understand dollar movies: paying to go into a theater to see stuff that's a year or so old. On purpose.
Wait do kids even understand being outside all day? Lol
Put on whole outfits and got cute to go to the mall!! Or to a park! Lol https://twitter.com/milanrougee/status/1391840909126422535
We had like 10 high schools in my county. Haywood Mall on Saturdays was just STOCKED with cuties. I fell in love in the mall so many times.
Outside with ZERO check in with parents. You were given distance parameters and if you broke that, you just had to make sure you could cover your ass. https://twitter.com/si_seaniorita/status/1391842251089891330
I read in one of my high school journals that I got in trouble bc I said I'd be at somebody's house and then we ran to the mall to get something and saw my mom, but I felt like I shouldn't be in trouble bc we were going right back to her house.
