I originally posted this thread in April 2018, based on what we’ve hard learned during 2017 and early 2018 votings.

1. Avoid shadowban

Shadowban means Twitter has muted your account in their scripts - for some time, in some way.

Shadowban could make your tweets invisible for the screening software BBMAs will use - meaning your votes won’t get counted.

Below a few tips on how to avoid it.

2. And if you get shadowbanned...

Many shadowbans are lifted up after only 1-3 days, when your account stops doing “suspicious activity”

And so, let your account rest. Decrease posting any hashtags or links. Meantime you can vote on your backup.

How to check if you are shadowbanned?
You can try to see if Twitter search bar is seeing your recent tweets. The best if someone else check for you
Use this website http://shadowban.eu . If it’s down, come back later

3. DO NOT GO PRIVATE while voting

When your account is locked, again - your tweets will be UNAVAILABLE, and so voting screening will not detect and not count your votes.

Also, please avoid through the whole voting period, because we don’t know how often they are screening

4. ALWAYS type the voting hashtag yourself

Twitter suggest misspelled hashtags. Type the hashtags at hand and if you spot any misspelled, MUTE IT.

You can also mute @ of the rival artists for the voting period, because some are pretending an army twt but consist of @ rivals

5. Untag other artists

You will come across tweets where our rival artists will be tagged. Make sure to untag them, so your tweet include ONLY @BTS_twt and make a valid vote for them. #BBMAsTopSocial

6. Make sure your account has enough following

Back in the day it used to be minimum 10 followers for your tweet votes to count. Now many says at least 100 followers, which sounds like a reach to me, but better safe than sorry (if you have proofs, please supply).

7. DO NOT OVERTAG

Never tag @BTS_twt multiple times in the same tweet. It’s considered spam by Twitter and very likely the voting screen as well. Instead of helping it makes your tweet useless for the voting.

ALWAYS 1 tweet = 1 tag, 1 voting hashtag = 1 vote.

8. Do not swear while voting

Especially in your voting tweets. If you can, search and delete your tweets with swear words.

Antis and rivals will keep trying suspending you and tweets if possible

Your account gone = all your votes gone
Your tweet gone = all retweet votes gone

9. Create yourself a voting back-up

Then, you can balance your voting tweets between both and avoid shadowban on either. You can always easily switch between accounts on your app.
Of course, get followers there too.

10. DO NOT OVERVOTE

It does absolutely no good. The limit is 10 votes per one @ the same day.

If you overvote, it probably won’t invalidate the first 10 votes as the search screening most likely work on a filter. But better not try our luck and it gets you closer shadowban

11. NEVER forget the voting is not only twitter but also website, THIS YEAR GLOBAL WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!

Log in with facebook or twitter. Vote until you reach the limit (pretty sure it’s 10 times)

12. NEVER STOP WIDENING THE GAP

It’s EXTREMELY important to not only maintain the gap but also widen it ALL THE TIME.
We never know the number of website votes
Frauders can much easier mess with website than Twitter, because on Twitter it’s visible for us

Armys who voted late 2019 probably know what I mean
