#CivilDisobedienceMovement
I've been told by CDMers from Education Sector about how terrorists are putting a lot of pressure on workers involving in CDM to go back to work. They are facing with threats of violence everyday. I'm here tweeting in this thread about that.
/11 They requested me not to post on FB. So, I decided to speak out for them on twitter. I will not mention their names and current positions for their safety.
/11 CDMers from Education Sector are threatened by their respective Principals, Headteachers, Rectors and Pro-rectors.Especially in ethnic states, CDMers also have to be aware of people living around them as some of their neighbours and their colleagues/ Non-CDMers are 'Dalans'.
/11 Due to the narrow region, their locations can be tracked easily as 'Dalans' give personal info of CDMers to terrorists intenionally. Thus, CDMers have to keep hiding and fleeing. They're unable to live together with their families till now.
/11 As far as I know, CDMers in countryside and ethnic states are more oppressed than the others in urbran. Some in there can't access the internet and they don't know how to contact with CDM supporters.Due to the internet blackout, they are more likely to be threatened by SAC.
/11 A friend of mine told me that her brother's friend's house had been searched by terrorists for being a CDMer. When they hadn't found him , they had arrested his parents. Plus, some family members of CDMers were also arrested as hostages like that.
/11 Moreover, most of the Non-CDM teachers are related to Military. What I mean is they are growing up in Military families or their husbands are soldiers / high rank officers. So, some of them persuade CDMers to go back to work or threaten them to be charged with 505-A.
/11 A fun fact is most of the Non-CDM teachers are arrogant for being (ဗိုလ်ကတော်) related to Military as they feel superior to other workmates." They (those Non-CDMers) are too lazy to work and treat the others like their slaves in workplace, " said one of the CDM teachers.
/11 However, there still last Non-CDMers who intend to stand for justice and to join in CDM. Due to families' financial problems, some can't refuse to go back to work. Some are unable to hide and flee bcs they have to take care of their aging parents and young children.
/11 So, pls don't blame them. Instead, you can donate and encourage the rest of CDMers not to become Non-CDMers bcs CDM is the key to bring down terrorists gp. Also, @NUGMyanmar should take responsibilities to protect CDMers and provide financial support as quickly as possible.
/11 Although CDMers are dealing with oppression, they still do the CDM, don't regret for being suspended, and make decision to endure till the end. Salute to all workers involving in CDM. https://twitter.com/zaw_athens/status/1391010033488384005?s=19
/11 You can also watch the interview of other CDMers sharing their stories and struggles in here. https://twitter.com/CelestialNang/status/1391662599067086849?s=19
