I love this photograph of Alvin Langdon Coburn at the Grand Canyon
It& #39;s attributed to Fannie E. Coburn, his wife.

Watch your step, Alvin!

Here& #39;s a photograph of Alvin Langdon Coburn taken by George Bernard Shaw. GBS, it turns out, was a very good photographer. I had no idea!
Beautiful light in this George Bernard Shaw photograph!

Another photograph by George Bernard Shaw. Like in many of my own shots, his horizon slants down on the left. This shot is from c. 1910

These photographs remind me of those by another great author, Emile Zola, from about the same time.

I guess it& #39;s no surprise that George Bernard Shaw& #39;s best photographic subject is himself. So much of his personality comes through in his self-portraits. This one is from c. 1904
GBS looks at Sigismund de Strobl& #39;s bust, & shakes his head.
Many of Shaw& #39;s photos were experiments with light. I especially like this self-portrait.
