Absolutely incorrect. Do not believe such unscientific claims.

A vaccine trains your immune system to recognize covid without getting infected by the actual virus. It does not give you an infection. You cannot give covid to other people if you take the vaccine. Rather, taking the vaccine will protect you from Covid.

In my city only slots for Covishield is available. Should I take it or wait for Covaxin to be available?
Take the available vaccine. Do not elapse time waiting for a 'preferred vaccine' and delay protection. Consider yourself lucky that you have available slots now!

No. It does not offer you any protection from getting infected. Embrace double masking, hand hygiene and avoid crowds to keep you safe from infection.

If you have had a normal recovery without complications and have no issues at present, no blood test are required. Focus on boosting your recovery through proper diet, rest and exercises.

My relative (40 yrs) tested negative 20 days back. He has not got his sense of smell back yet. Is this a concern?
Not to worry. In some cases it can take up to a month or more for one to regain sense of smell and taste. It will gradually come back on it's own.

14 days after recovery is a good time to take the vaccine. Note that one might experience mild flu like symptoms after vaccination. You can take paracetamol in such cases. Get vaccinated!

No. A patient should not speculate about the CT score. The treatment is not based on CT score, but your symptoms, blood test reports and vitals. So, stop trying to interpret it and getting anxious about it.

Generally not a concern. These are markers of inflammation and cannot comment on standalone reports. If she doesnt have symptoms and stable vitals it should be fine.

In my vaccination centre, they are giving this vaccine. It doesnt say SII or Covishield. Is this ok?
Yes it is the same. AstraZeneca vaccine is called as Covishield in India and manufactured by SII.

Considering the saturation levels, it is recommended to go for immediate hospitalisation.
