Last summer, this was a beautiful shady cutting lined with trees, full of wildflowers and birdsong. Now it looks like this, thanks to #HS2. I came for a walk but I’m sitting here & weeping at the brutality of this destruction at Offchurch ‘Greenway’

This is the reality of #HS2 vanity project. Ruined landscapes, thousands upon thousands of tress and woodland destroyed. For what, exactly?

Heartbroken. And this large scale destruction stretches for mile after mile - not just through Warwickshire but across the Midlands and south. How many habitats destroyed we will never get back?
