i thought i’d try to stump him by asking him about Cara Daggett’s concept of “petromasculinity,” but he suprised me by giving what I thought was a pretty thoughtful answer

It’s a great interview and I encourage you to read the whole thing. It’s clear that Buttigieg’s main job right now is to leverage his political celebrity to help advance Biden’s infrastructure, so his future is very much tied in with how well he does now.
