AmeriKKKan Korruption (Reloaded) by Capital STEEZ (2012, Conscious Hip-Hop)

Now before i get to the songs, i just wanted to leave a quick little explanation about this album title. The Korruption stands for the Corruption in the USA. The Triple K in Amerikkka stands for the
Ku Klux Klan (KKK). If you shorten Amerikkkan Korruption into "AK", the "Reloaded" in the album's title which could possibly stand for "AK-47: Reloaded". Now back to the songs. This mixtape opens up with the song; Capital STEEZ. It's a great opener to this fantastic Mixtape.
Next song is D3ad Prez, this track shows STEEZ's skill as a MC. He also mentions Biggie, Pac and Eazy in the hook; "Is there heaven for us hip-hop heathens? Big Pop and Pac, even Eazy had em leanin". Onto the next song; Free The Robots. MAN. Yall thought D3ad Prez showed Steez's
skill as a MC? Free The Robots shows that same skill, just 5 times better. This is his best song in my opinion and one of the best songs of the last decade. Steez criticizes the government, our technology and the morals of today's people. I'm gonna drop a few examples.
"We should see the signs, but we Stevie blind." "Would God come through or would he actually forget us? Cause, apocalypse is getting closer,
but they're more focused on our lil youth sippin Soda." "So can I live, or is my brother tryin' to gun me down?"
"And instead of stickin' up for each other, we pickin' up guns and stickin' up our brothers". "The arm of the law is tryin' to man-handle us. A man's world, but a white man's planet" "And in the end we're gonna remain stagnant. I ain't havin' it". To add even more,
this song has an amazing music video, which makes the song 10 times better, i get goosebumps from watching that music video. Not only is this song phenomenal, the topic is still relevant to this day. This is Steelo's "Ain't It Funny", where already an amazing song
gets even better with the music video. I'm not gonna talk about every single song on here, because it's 21 tracks, but i am gonna drop some more notable songs you should check out (And ofc the entire mixtape); Apex, Talking Sh!t, 47 Elements, Bonified Loving and more.
I think this is a better mixtape than 1999, and the best project to come out of the Pro Era scene. Steez was 18 when he made this amazing project. Such a talented rapper, he had the potential to be one of the best rappers, not only of this decade, but ever.
It sucks that this isn't on Spotify.
