I'm no journo, but if I was, I'd find it interesting that Labour is now apparently skint.

Under Corbyn, it was "easily the richest political party in Britain." They even managed to raise half a million quid in a single day at one point.

So to sum up, the new leader appointed a Gen Sec with a troubling financial track record, and suddenly "the richest political party in Britain" can no longer afford by-elections or shadow cabinet posts.
